Floating Tourmaline Ring

18ct rose gold and platinum  “Floating” cabochon Teal Blue Tourmaline Signet Ring. I fell in love with the depth of colour in this Tourmaline, I wanted to accentuate the translucency of the stone in a design. I created a concave area under the Tourmaline so the Teal Blue would reflect back up from the rose gold. I wanted  a really fluid shape for the rose gold ring  and based it on an old style signet ring. I think the colours and shapes work beautifully together.
