This handmade Silver Palladium and Tourmaline dress ring is the latest evolution of my original floating bezel design.
The ring features this beautiful marquise shaped, cabochon pink Tourmaline that is set in an 18ct floating bezel setting, which sits above the concave section and elegantly frames the Tourmaline. The concave section not only creates an interesting perspective to view the ring, but it also reflects light up through the bottom of the stone enhancing its natural brilliance. While the silver palladium band emphasizes and emulates the shape of the gemstone with its fully rounded and polished surface. While the slight twist in the band allows the lines created by the points of the Tourmaline can be continued down through the rest of the design.
