Every piece of jewellery I create is made using traditional techniques and skills. Each handcrafted piece using these skills, pays respect to the thousands of jewellers that came before me and have spent years perfecting this technique, of turning raw materials into the incredible pieces of art we see today and have seen throughout history. By understanding the process that has been passed down we see the subtle touches that can sometimes be lost in mass production. These details are as unique to each jeweller as your fingerprints are to you. For me, these special touches rarely reveal themselves when I initially start designing for a client but rather form organically and evolve during the making process as I test my ideas with the metal. This is what I love most about designing and creating in jewellery.
