70s Style Upsweep Ring Remodel

I was in a conversation with a client about some wedding rings and she mentioned that her mother had her engagement ring remodelled from the original design and was never happy with the result. She then asked if I knew of a style from the 70’s and 80’s that was an upsweep that didn’t join at the top. I did a couple of quick sketches of this style and it was what her mother was looking for. So we sat down and looked at the Diamonds she had and redesigned the engagement ring into this retro 1970’s inspired design.
