Freeform coloured stone bangle

This freeform bangle was commissioned by a client to go with this platinum and 18ct gold ring that I made approx 2 years ago.

It shows how you can make a piece out of different metals and different gemstones to fit a budget and still work with the existing ring.

We chose to make it out of silver as this metal works really well for larger pieces of jewellery without adding huge cost. The settings and highlight are still made from 18ct yellow and rose gold. I had to find alternative semi-precious gemstones that were larger so we could work to budget. I chose Rhodolite Garnet, where the ring had a ruby and Spessatite Garnet for Orange Sapphires. The bangle is still set with small diamonds and a Blue and Parti Sapphires

As an extra item the client wanted a treble clef earring with a gemstone, the client chose a orange sapphire as this has such a great visual impact.
